WELCOME TO SALAKEE

One of the oldest place names on Scilly, Salakee is a beautiful, sloping 35-acre farm, of which, the Mumford family have been the custodians for 3 generations.
Since 2014, Kylie and Dave have been repairing the farm’s degraded soils, whilst producing nutrient-dense food for their island community. The farm raises high welfare duck, 100% grass fed beef, pastured eggs and ‘no-dig’ vegetables in the market garden.
The farm is also home to the family's beautiful house cow Nancy, honey bees, and several hundred newly-planted fruit, nut and native trees.
